We support the communities in which we work because they are also our homes.
A core part of our commitment to sustainability is planning for the future of our communities. We provide students with educational scholarships to post-secondary programs as well as opportunities for educational primary and secondary school forest-based activities throughout the year.
Over years of working collaboratively with First Nations bands and organizations, we have developed relationships based on respect and support. Our Cooperative Forest Management Agreements, which encourage First Nations participation, were developed with the input of many First Nations communities. As a member of the Nicola Similkameen Innovative Forestry Society, we have been able to encourage cooperative First Nations management in the forest industry.
